Companions

Companions are stat boosting allies that give a slight boost in stats to a player while exploring in Geode's caverns. Players can equip companions at the start of any expedition to gain additional GAS, Lasermancy, Energy Regeneration, Movement Speed, and boosts and reductions to Modules while in the Geode caves. Each type of companion is divided into categories based on their rarity, and each kind of companion has different stat boosts upon leveling at the Companion Trainer.

Companions do not give boosts outside of the Geode caves but can be equipped as a style on top of Allies.

Eggs[]

Companions can be hatched from eggs, which can be split into two categories: -General eggs can be hatched into any of the companion families. They can be aquired by either finishing lairs (starting with Tier 2), rare drops from Crystal Caches, reward from Geode Mastery. -Tame Eggs can be rarely optained from helping critters. Those can only hatch critters from the same family.
