Enemy Mushroom King

Bosses, such as the Mushroom King, can give experience once defeated.

Experience (abbreviated EXP or XP) is a gameplay mechanic used to measure how far away a characters next class level is.

About[]

Every class a character has will be leveled separately, meaning one class can have a higher level then other classes, vise versa, etc.

Each level a character earns increases the stats (usually class specific stats) of the class by a certain amount per level, and there are additional bonus stats on levels 20 and 30.

The higher the level a character has, the more experience a character can gain from higher difficulty worlds.

Gaining Experience[]

Experience is gained through fighting mobs and completing dungeons. The location of each dungeon objective varies the experience received. A Lair objective grants 10x the experience of a small mob, a Dungeon pre-boss grants 5x the experience of a small mob, and a Dungeon final boss grants 20x the experience of a small mob.

Experience can be boosted through Patron (which boosts the amount of experience you gain from all sources by 50%), the Saturday Daily Bonus (+50%, +100% with Patron), experience boost weekly bonus (+100%), or a Double Experience Potion (x2).

The higher world difficulty you're in, the more experience you gain from mobs. You gain the most experience in the Uber-9 Adventure World and the least experience in the Novice World.

Stat gain per level[]

For individual stats gained per level, refer to each class's separate page:

Paragon Levels[]

Paragon Levels allow players who have reached maximum level to continue earning benefits from the many experience-generating activities within Trove. Reaching level 30 will put the class at Paragon Level 0. Since the system is effectively infinite, the rewards from Paragon Levels do not increase player power on a per-level-earned basis. Instead, they are used to craft new Crystal rings with gameplay impacting ability modifiers ("Hidden Effects"), as well as unlocking new mounts, allies, and other collectables to increase your mastery.

Each class you own can earn its own Paragon levels and rewards, and each Prime Paragon level on any class drops from 1 to 100 Primal Paragon Pinata, and has a chance to drop a Primal Paragon Cube, a very rare Paragon's Mark or a extremely rare Golden Signatory Box for your current class.

You earn a Prime Paragon Level when you reach a Prime number as level.

Paragon Levels do not provide stats like regular levels. Instead, Paragon Levels provide Trovian Loops, while prime Paragon Levels provide class-specific Primal Loops. These loops are automatically claimed, and appear in the currency section of the inventory.

Trivia[]

  • Experience can not be gained through professions, such as Ringcrafting and Gardening, but Mastery Level can be boosted through these professions.
  • You do not gain experience through Mining, though you can find Miner's Trove chests and other items that may be useful to crafting when doing these activities.
