Fireflies are ranged enemies located in the Medieval Highlands Biome.
They are commonly found alongside Bees.
Behavior[]
Like most ranged enemies, they will shoot a laser with great accuracy at players on sight. It will shoot every three to four seconds and are usually hard to dodge due to the accuracy. In higher difficulties they can deal massive damage if left unattended, especially in large groups.
Appearance[]
They are larger versions of average fireflies. Most of its body is covered in a orange-like color while some parts are brown in color. They have the distinct yellow lighting on the lower abdomen like common fireflies. Their wings have a giant hole on them.

- Fireflies can commonly be found anywhere in the biome through natural spawn, Lair spawn, and Dungeon spawn.
- Some bosses can spawn this enemy.

- Fireflies are based off of a species of bugs called Lampyridae, in which are normally referred to as fireflies or lightning bugs.
