Flux is a common material in Trove. It is used to upgrade items at the Forge, change stats at the Chaos Forge, purchase Trove of Wonders from the Weaver of Wonders, and craft a variety of items. It is also used as the main official currency in the game's marketplace tab. Flux is shown in a ratio to determine how valuable each unit of an item listed in a group is; ratios appear as <Item/Material>:<Flux>.
Obtaining Flux[]
Flux can be obtained in a large variety of ways. Some examples include:
Adventure Farming[]
While adventuring, equipment can drop uncommonly from enemies killed, or guaranteed from completing lairs or dungeons and killing bosses.
When you Loot Collect the items, you will get a set amount of flux. The higher the rarity the more flux you receive from the loot collector.
Additionally, Flux Treasures obtained from Lair and Dungeon chests give a decent amount of Flux, and can be earned alongside gear.
This is most effective on Sunday.
Delves[]
Before delves, you could do a shadow tower once every week, players can defeat Shadow Titans (except for the Daughter of the Moon) in the Shadow Tower for Titan Souls, with which they can craft Titan's Treasures at the Shadowy Market.
Now in delves, every 3rd dungeon will grant you with around 17 titan souls and fewer amounts of lunar souls if you open the shadow box at the end of defeating the boss, for a max of 117 a week, if you used all 117 titan souls, you will get 39 Titan's Treasure a day, and the File:Mysterious Trophy Case.pngMysterious Trophy Case can prove useful for another flux gathering method.
Titan's Treasures commonly contain 1,500 to 3,500 Flux, or more rarely up to 1 Megaflux Tank (9,999 Flux), making delves a very quick daily flux scheme.
Trading[]
As Flux is the primary currency on the Player Marketplace, selling items (such as the mysterious trophy cases) there can be used to effectively earn Flux.
Mining Ores and Radiant Shards on Tuesdays and selling them is commonly done to earn Flux, although generally any tradeable item can be sold.
Selling high-rarity equipment at the File:Trading Post.pngTrading Post can also yield notable amounts of flux.
Equipping a tome and randomly gathering ore while adventuring is a relatively quick way to get flux. Farming recipe dungeons and selling the recipes/blank scrolls is another good example of using trading and adventuring.
As prices fluctuate often, the profits from trading are inconsistent and can change often.
Fishing[]
Fishing is another way to earn flux. Selling the Glim earned by loot collecting fish could yield a good profit. Jumping Jadefins can also be sold to players looking to craft Sarsaponia, the Pristine, as can rare fish.
This is most effective on Tuesday.
