Flux is a common material in Trove. It's used to upgrade items at the Forge and Enchanted Forge, and to create diamonds and shadow diamonds for the Ringcrafting profession. It can be crafted into a Megaflux Tank for 9,999 Flux, useful for keeping space in inventory.

Flux is also used as an unofficial currency in the game. Players often buy and trade for items with Flux, and Flux is used as a ratio to determine how valuable an item is. Ratios appear as #:#, where the first number is other materials and the second number is Flux.

Flux is obtained from dragon caches in large amounts, or through putting unwanted equipment into the Loot Collector. The amount of flux gained per operation is based on the forge level of the item that has been broken down.

Farming Flux

Flux can be obtained many ways such as Shadow Tower, Adventure farming and doing Challenges.

Adventure Farming

I. Gears

Adventure Farming is one of the most common way to get Flux. While adventuring, you got a lot a loots drop from every Lairs and Dungeons if luckily, you could have a chance to receive a rarer gear rarity. Those rarer gear rarity usually useful in the Uber Adventure World, especially is Uber-6. The more rarity are gears, the more flux value you may get. Not only in gears rarity, deconstructing higher Shadow level may get a Forged Shadow Soul. You can put to sale them in the Marketplace or in trade channel, anything you want as long it's the selling methods.

We recommend you to sell the Thrice-Forged Shadow Soul which is the easiest and fastest soul you can get. Twice-Forged Shadow Soul is good also but it's not worth as same as the thrice. If you didn't receive any Shadow Level 3 gears yet, maybe you could have a lot of Shadow Level 2 gears. Upgrade them in Forge into the Shadow Level 3 gears, then deconstruct it in Loot Collector, that is how you get them. Compared with the upgrading value, it's not worth much at the loss statement flux. The average value of Thrice is about 3,500 Flux and the upgrading value only 750 Flux total for each level and 2 Twice at the gears upgrading. Your income now are increasing many fold.

You want a higher income and higher gears? If you are a dynamic and patient businessman, you should do those thing above, like upgrading to Quad-Forged Shadow Soul and Penta-Forged Shadow Soul. Radiant gears are good but it take a lot of soul and time to upgrade, if you are lucky guys and have 36 Twices.

Notes: This method depending on your Player Stats#Magic Find which is the chance to increase rarity of dropped gears.

II. Resources

Next, is the resources farming. Each biome has a specific resources. After Challenges was appeared in Trove, this was the most common way to get flux. Despite this was the effective way, but it's not bring many incomes. Instead, those resources are materials used to craft other high price items, such as Mount, Plant, Ring... so best not to sell pure resources.

The most expensive resource is Robotic Salvage which can be found in Neon City biome. This worth about 1:8 - 1:15 Flux, but it's very rare, about 20% dropped after killed a robot enemy. Become an industrious adventurer is very necessary because its usage is huge. They can be crafted into the only and exclusive craftable wings: the Neon Nightsky costs about 45,000 Flux!

So we've experienced an example about the dynamic resources farmer. Being that possibly make you blue, but the effect that it brings is very high.
