The Sundered Uplands are a Prime World Biome that appears in "10 - Moonless Dark" (d10) worlds and higher. It is most commonly the biome you spawn in when going into Prime Worlds.
It's most desirable resources are Irradiant Powercell's and Ashfern Sporeling. Which can be found on the upper layer of the Uplands and the lower layer, respectively.
Effects[]
This biome will apply a temporary effect to the player that causes all forms of flight to be dragged down to the ground much faster than normal. It's recommended that you use classes that have higher movement speed to be able to traverse this biome easier.
5-Star Dungeons[]
Sundered Uplands biomes can spawn 2 types of 5-star Dungeons. One that will spawn as a "Tower" that has a large pillar going from the Uplands up into the air. The other is known as a "Ship" and is fully floating in the air.
These types of dungeons aren't like normal 5-star Dungeons in a sense that they do not stop after you complete all 5 Skull Piles or Bosses. Each "wave" of the dungeon will increase the difficulty and Light required to do damage to enemies in each wave. After 3 waves of Skull Piles or Bosses, a much more powerful boss will spawn. After that boss is defeated, the waves will reset back to the Skull Piles and Bosses until you reach a boss wave again. This will continue until you can no longer keep up or go so high in waves that your Light can't keep up anymore and the Dungeon will end.
Once the dungeon ends, you will receive some rewards based on the wave you reached.
